Extreme Looks

Extreme Looks

By: Leonardo Rocco

Many women might hesitate to make significant changes to their hair or image, fearing how it might turn out. However, today I want to showcase some "extreme looks" that I'm sure you'll love and hopefully motivate you to make that bold, unexpected change.

Tips for an Extreme Hair Makeover:

When considering an extreme change, remember that aside from your facial features and hair type, it is crucial to understand the complexity of maintenance and daily care to ensure you can manage it without issues and always look spectacular. Moreover, having your stylist as your ally to advise and recommend what’s best for you is essential.

Some of These Extreme Looks Include:

Tini Stoessel, Mixie Cut

Martina Stoessel, known professionally as Tini, is a singer, actress, dancer, and model who started her career at the age of 10. We were used to seeing her with various hairstyles, but recently she surprised us with a super modern cut, the Mixie Cut. This style merges two trendy cuts, the Pixie and the Mullet, creating a bold, fun look with lots of attitude.

This style features short hair (pixie) but with longer, tousled strands at the back (mullet). It looks great on straight, wavy, and curly hair. Tini has an oval face that suits all types of cuts, which is why this version of the Mixie Cut looks so good on her. However, if you have a round face, you can leave longer sideburns to elongate your face. If your face is square, leave strands at jaw level to soften the angles.

Furia, Platinum Blonde

Juliana Scaglione, better known as Furia, was a participant in Argentina's most famous reality show, Big Brother. With her explosive yet attractive personality, she became one of the most controversial participants in the show.

Regarding her style, it never goes unnoticed. She sports a military cut, a style typically favored by men, which is super practical. It’s done with clippers and a number 1 guard to achieve super short, uniform hair. Women who opt for this cut show a strong and extroverted personality.

In Furia’s case, she also plays with different colors that this cut and length allow. From platinum to pink or with heart designs, we’ve seen how Furia enjoys and expresses her overpowering personality through her hair, grabbing attention even after the show ended. If you feel like trying an extreme look like Furia’s, go for it, but remember you need an extroverted and strong personality. And to make it more fun, dare to play with many colors as Furia does.

Rodrigo de Paul and Leandro Paredes, Platinum

I couldn’t finish this note without mentioning something for men. When we talk about extreme looks, Rodrigo de Paul and Leandro Paredes dared to go platinum blonde for the Copa America. De Paul first cut his hair and then went platinum, following in the steps of Paredes.

In both cases, they have short hair, making it much easier to maintain the platinum look. It’s crucial to wash the hair at least once a week with purple shampoo to keep the platinum tone you like and prevent it from turning brassy. Like Furia, they can also play with different colors that fade with washes, allowing them to change their style quickly.

In Conclusion

No matter which "Extreme Look" you choose, it’s essential to care for your hair and maintain a washing routine with nourishing shampoo and conditioner. Use a nourishing or repairing mask once a week, and style your hair with products suitable for your hair type.
